First in-game footage of The Long Dark has been revealed

Hinterland Studio Inc. has announced that the support for The Long Dark on Kickstarter has been overwhelming. Yesterday, they were named Project of the Day on Kickstarter, the number of backers swelled past 3,500, and with each day the intended goal of $200,000(CAD) gets closer and closer.

They released some teaser in-game screenshots on Friday afternoon, and now they want to share the very first prototype gameplay footage from The Long Dark!

Founder and creative director Raphael van Lierop shows viewers how Hinterland has translated the clean, minimalist art style from their stunning concept art to 3D, as well as a look at the underpinnings of The Long Dark's survival simulation gameplay.

So far we are very impressed with everything that surrounds this project and can only hope that enough people take notice of this game and support it, if you like what you see why not contribute with a few bucks to their cause?
