GamesterGear Cruiser P3210 Review

Today I have for you a product directed almost exclusively towards gamers, the Cruiser P3210 from GamesterGear is a headset that certainly performs well in the audio department, unfortunately it leaves a bit to be desired when it comes to its visual design.
The Cruiser P3210 is compatible with PC, PS3 and according to GamesterGear it is also compatible with the recently released PS4, a great selling point for any audio product indeed.

GamesterGear is a brand I didn't know all that well, so it was with great curiosity that I opened the P3210 stylish white box. Inside you can expect to find a helpful user guide, the flexible and detachable microphone, 1x female 3,5mm to stereo RCA cable and finally the actual headset.
Like I already mentioned the box is very stylish and elegant, unfortunately the actual headset is not as attractive, while it does not look terrible, it fails to set itself apart.
While the visual design can be a matter of opinion, the plastic construction is a fact, unfortunately it gives the Cruiser a cheap feel that doesn't match the actual sound quality that the P3210 can achieve.

Comfort-wise the headset is pretty acceptable, the only bad thing I can say about it is that the padding present on the headband should be a bit bigger/thicker to prevent your head from ever touching the plastic. The ear cushions on the other hand are extremely "fluffy" and adapt well to the shape of your ears, they also allow your ears to breathe preventing any sort of excess heat to accumulate.

Finally let's talk about what I believe to be the Cruiser P3210 strongest feature, its audio quality.
Equipped with dual drivers (50mm,30mm) this audio solution from GamesterGear can deliver powerful bass without compromising sound quality. It's definitely something that you don't often see but seems to work well, especially at this price point ($109.99) it sets the P3210 apart from most competitors.
Another interesting and relatively unique feature is the rumble effect, much like your Playstation or Xbox controller this headset vibrates, while it's not something I see professional gamers use, it's assuredly another quirky and curious piece of engineering that aids to distinguish the P3210 in a very crowded market. For people that don't like the force-feedback, it can easily be toned down or turned off entirely.
The detachable microphone is extremely flexible and captures your voice almost perfectly, it certainly has more than enough quality to communicate with your gaming buddies. A quick note regarding the microphone, it has a loopback system, meaning that you will be able to hear yourself talking while gaming, useful when the audio volume is loud.

Final Thoughts
The Cruiser P3210 is certainly an interesting peripheral from GamesterGear, while visually and in terms of build quality it can definitely be improved, the fact that it delivers above average sound quality more than justifies its price.
If you're looking for an original and decent-quality audio product that will satisfy not only your PC but also Playstation needs then the GamesterGear Cruiser P3210 might just be for you.

The Good
-Bass dedicated driver
-Audio quality
-Rumble effect
-Compatibility with PC and Playstation

The Bad

-Visual design
