ROCCAT and Azubu join forces

ROCCAT today announced a partnership between Team ROCCAT and the premier eSports streaming platform Azubu, including Team ROCCAT’s League of Legends section plus its StarCraft II players. In addition to branding and co-marketing activities, both companies have also agreed on a more content-driven collaboration. Team ROCCAT will exclusively stream private matches, practice scrims, and other content via the Azubu platform. Azubu was founded in 2011 and is imminently set to relaunch the platform as the premium global destination for eSports programming, editorial and analysis, broadcasting lag-free HD content worldwide.

Jason Katz, Azubu COO says: “With Team ROCCAT, we get global visibility for our brand plus exciting gaming content for our channels. For us, this is a perfect fit and the partnership will drive awareness and create great shows for the viewing audience.” ROCCAT founder and CEO RenĂ© Korte comments: “Azubu is driven by cutting-edge technology and a passion for professional gaming – just like we are. We always like partnerships that go beyond just putting a logo somewhere. With Azubu, we can broadcast the excitement of competitive gaming directly to the fans out there across the globe, and that’s what we love to do.”
