Third Eye Crime Launches on iOS

Indie development studio Moonshot Games and indie game publisher gameblyr today announced the release of the highly anticipated stealth puzzle game Third Eye Crime for iOS devices. Created by AAA-turned-indie talent from Bungie with years of design expertise on titles including the Halo series, Third Eye Crime features gorgeous visuals in noir stylings and a soulful jazz score to deliver a stylistically immersive, fully independent gameplay experience. Third Eye Crime’s 120-level thriller is available for $4.99 on the App Store, or players can begin with the first 40 levels of Act One for $2.99, with Acts Two and Three available as add-ons for 99 cents each.

"Going from a 200-person studio like Bungie to our own four-person indie studio brought on a lot of interesting challenges and hats to wear, but it has been a blast bringing our dream of bringing a film noir game to life," said Damian Isla, president of Moonshot Games and creative director of Third Eye Crime. "We want to assure gamers of one thing: you have never played anything like Third Eye Crime."

Rothko is a smooth-talking criminal who can telepathically predict where enemies will move when attempting to thwart his heists. Players must rely on skill and their “third eye” to deftly make an escape. Featuring eight unique environments totaling 120 levels and visually intuitive gameplay, beginners are effortlessly eased into the heist before launching into increasingly complex levels. Third Eye Crime offers a unique take on the stealth puzzle game genre: the goal is not only to avoid being caught, but to misdirect enemies and lead them on a wild goose chase in order to pull off the perfect crime.

“Games like Third Eye Crime are exactly why we started gameblyr,” said Marco Mereu, CEO of indie game publisher gameblyr. "The talent behind this game is undeniable, so setting out to get Third Eye Crime in front of consumers to bring it the visibility it deserves was a no-brainer for us. This is AAA mobile gaming."

Optimized for iOS 7, Third Eye Crime uses the Game Center and features additional modes that challenge players to achieve record-breaking time scores, steal all loot before escaping, and successfully complete a heist while remaining completely undetected.
