Etherium gets a release date and details Conquest Mode in new gameplay video

Etherium, the new real-time strategy game for PC from Tindalos Interactive, will release in two weeks, on March 25. Anticipating this imminent release, and following the previous gameplay video that offered a global overview of the game's features, Etherium details its Conquest mode through a dedicated gameplay video.

In Conquest mode, a real galactic conquest awaits you. In this entirely non-linear mode, plan your tactics in turn-based, building invasion fleets, developing your technology tree to unlock new units and skills, spying on the enemy and sabotaging them, and ultimately invading their territories and planets in real-time strategy battles! You are free to decide how your conquests progress. Manage your resources, expand your colonies and extend your control of the map to assemble an army capable of crushing your opponents.

When invading an enemy planet or territory, you are sent to real-time strategy mode, where epic battles will ensue between formidable armies comprising numerous units: infantry, tanks, aircraft, and even gigantic colossi of war several dozens of meters high; real machines of destruction! Technological advancements made during turn-based view will let you use increasingly more powerful or specialized units: use scientific research to develop a tech tree enabling you to unlock new units and upgrades, access new structures to develop your colony and to use new special skills.

Each and every one of the game’s elements have been carefully crafted by the teams from StreumOn, with respect for the Space Hulk license created by Games Workshop.

This is illustrated in the new trailer Rise of the Terminators. Supported by an original soundtrack from band Kadebostany "Walking with a Ghost", its powerful images will immerse you in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Retro-inspired arcade game Pix the Cat comes soon to PC

Developed by the French studio Pastagames, who created the excellent Rayman Jungle Run among many others, Pix the Cat has been positively received by the press (80% Metacritic), winning over 1 million players since its release on PlayStation 4 and Vita and its special PlayStation Plus offer.

PC players will soon be able to join console players in this crazily addictive arcade game, at the end of January.

Pix the Cat features many different game modes including single and multiplayer modes, some changing the theme and aesthetic. Including Arcade, Nostalgia, Laboratory, and Arena modes, you’ll play as Pix - who plays a Pix – heading deeper and deeper into levels upon levels in a Snake-meets-Pac-Man digital world.

Enjoy a kinetic and stylized world within games where, in the arcade mode, your task is liberate ducklings and trail them to the safe-zones without hitting the walls, getting stuck, or running into your feathered friends, gaining the highest score possible and comparing them on the leaderboards. Completing “achievements” opens up new game modes and unlocks artwork, announcer voices and your favorite tunes from the game’s soundtrack. Among other stuff.

Finally, Arena mode pits you against 3 friends in local multiplayer. With two players facing off on the same keyboard, connect additional controllers and blow your enemies to smithereens in epic battles of cats, ducks and eggs.

Pix the Cat will be available for download for PC on Steam at the end of January.

The next chapter in the CitiesXL franchise revealed in the CitiesXXL Teaser Trailer

The Cities XL franchise returns with Cities XXL: a bigger, better city builder pushing the city limits to the edge of your imagination, as seen in the stunning world reveal trailer. Running on a vastly improved game engine, Cities XXL offers classic and extended city-building content, including over 1000+ buildings, 70+ maps including new landscapes and environments, and ecological features making CitiesXXL the ‘greenest’ Cities XL game yet.

Discover in the first Cities XXL video the sprawling cityscapes and city-life in action, to get a sense of the scale and grandeur of the game.

As you’ll see in the video, CitiesXXL lets you design and build a sprawling metropolis across many different landscapes and maps, with varying available resources – from oil to fertile farm land – to keep the denizens of your city content. Featuring four classes of citizens spanning four densities of housing, you’ll watch as your cosmopolitan paradise grows from a quiet suburban town to huge economic powerhouse.

With varying road-sizes, including curved roads, bridges, and tunnels unlocked from the start, you'll be able to plan the entrance to your city and its layout before you start plotting its city-scape. As it grows, take advantage of a unique richly detailed street-level view, and meet the citizens as they drive to work, ski, play basketball, or even parachute of the top of towers in unprecedented detail for the genre.

Cities XXL features low-level city management mechanics, such as local air and noise pollution levels illustrated with the new stream-lined UI, and beauty hot-spots suitable for holiday locations to supplement cash-flow.
At citizen management level, you'll be able to track a person's route to work in order to best manage transport from sea, underground and over-ground rail, or air. Cut-down on traffic queues with the park and ride and busses, or even bike hire - reducing that carbon footprint!

Now with Steam Workshop support and streamlined modding, it has never been easier and quicker to share and download user-created content for a Cities XL game. With Cities XXL, you’ll be able to use widely available free tools online to create your content and upload it to the Steam Workshop, for all players to download it right through Steam.

Styx: Master of Shadows - 'Assassin's Green II' Trailer

Styx: Master of Shadows, the infiltration game from Cyanide Studios, is a challenging and subtle blend of stealth, exploration and assassination, with many opportunities to use the environment to subdue your enemies, or simply pass them by unnoticed, above, or below them. Coming October 7 for download on PS4, Xbox One and PC, gain a little inspiration before you begin your ascent of the Tower of Akenash with a new Assassin's Green gameplay video.

This time, we take another look at the dynamism and flow of Styx's treacherous ascent, having discovered clones, tactics, skills, and styles. Using all of these to his advantage, Styx manages to poison guards, blind them with his clone, climb vast heights, and reach his objective unseen - the way a goblin should!

As discussed in the gameplay making of video, being a 200 year old goblin, Styx is unique in that his nimble frame and athleticism lets him dance around his environment, relatively quietly with deadly speed and agility. However, while he is fast, agile, and cunning, he is also small, weak, and at constant risk of being surrounded should he knock over a vase, or land noisily, attracting the attention of the guards.
