Signal Studios Launches The Sleeping Prince on the App Store

Signal Studios and Tilting Point today announced the launch of The Sleeping Prince, an innovative new game on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Use your finger to throw, flick, and toss Prince Perilous through the land to rescue his Princess and Kingdom. Innovative physics, gorgeous environments, and stimulating narrative make for an exciting unique adventure as you collect items, attack enemies, avoid traps, and solve clever puzzles. Connect with Facebook to compete in the leaderboards and share magic with your friends!

Prince Perilous yawned the words, “My kingdom for a nap,” as the whole town of Cloudreach fell into a deep sleep caused by Sydney Slime’s evil spell. Along with the help of Wizard Plushkin, guide Prince Perilous to save the Kingdom with your magical powers! Swipe and fling him to collect the pieces necessary to rescue the Princess and stop Sydney Slime once and for all!

“The Sleeping Prince is a unique game designed for touch-screen controls. We see the delight on players’ faces when they first lift and fling this ragdoll character across the screen, it’s unlike any other platforming experience on mobile,” said Colin Tennery, Vice President at Signal Studios. “Our goal was to make something accessible for everyone to play, but still challenging and deep enough for more advanced gamers, too.”

The Sleeping Prince App is available for free on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch or at: www.appstore.com/sleepingprince.

Time Traveling Puzzle-Platformer 'Chronology' Warps onto iOS Devices

Osao Games, an indie micro-studio dedicated to crafting touching gaming experiences, today announced that its mind-bending puzzle-platforming game, Chronology, is now available worldwide on iOS. In Chronology, players will travel between planes of time in charming, hand-drawn steampunk environments that feature unique puzzle-solving elements.

Improved and remastered for mobile devices, players follow the journey of a brilliant, Einstein-esque inventor and his mechanically-inclined snail as they reshape the outcome of their world. Chronology is free to try, with the first three in-game chapters available to download on the iOS App Store at no cost. Players can choose to unlock an additional five, longer chapters for a one-time in-app purchase of $2.99 USD. Additional chapters are also planned to be incorporated into the mobile version at a future date.

Chronology begins as its protagonist -- the Old Inventor -- awakes with no memory among the desolate remains of a world once teeming with life. Upon discovering a time travel device, the inventor sets out to restore the timeline with the help of a talking snail who can stop time. Mixing classical fantasy with retro-futuristic elements, players will control both characters to solve the game's intricate puzzles, switching between the beautiful, idyllic past and the dark, dystopian future.

Chronology has had a turbulent history. After the original developer closed its doors in January 2014 (after the game had been Greenlit by the Steam community), a dedicated team of developers formed Osao Games to continue the game's development. Chronology debuted on Steam this past May, and was selected as one of the eight finalists for the Nordic Game Indie Sensation Award.
