Scott Pilgrim vs The World is a side scroller beat 'em up developed and published by Ubisoft, even though it is based on the Scott Pilgrim series, the game was made to follow up the movie that featured Michael Cera. So you can consider it a movie adaptation of sorts, and it is a good one!
In this beat 'em up the action feels great, the visuals are really pretty, even though they use a 8-bit style, everything just sort of falls into place, even the music, as you can hear, it's amazing and very up-beat. You can pick this game super cheap for the Xbox Live Arcade or Playstation Network.
