RHA MA350 Review

The product I will be reviewing for you today, comes from a company that I didn't even know until a couple of months ago. Having heard good things about their products, I decided to ask for a test sample, thankfully they were kind enough to send me one.
For those of you who don't know RHA, they are a British headphone company and according to them their goal consists in delivering the most accurate, comfortable and unobtrusive listening experience possible. They also mention the build quality of the products, but seriously, when you build something out of aircraft grade aluminium you know that the construction quality is going to be top-notch.

Moving on to the review itself, I will be taking a look at the MA350 in-ear headphones, at the time of this review they are one of the most affordable products that RHA has available and yet, their construction still feels like it's bulletproof.
Aluminium earpieces, braided cable, gold-plated 3,5mm jack, three sets of silicone ear-tips and even a useful fabric bag to protect your headphones, all of this comes included and still the MA350's don't cost more than $40 (Amazon), simply amazing.

The MA350's come elegantly packed, listing all of the box contents and headphones specifications while still being able to show off the product itself through a small window strategically placed on the front of the package. A QR code is also included for those buyers interested in checking out some reviews before taking the plunge.

Now let's talk about the actual performance of these babies, construction quality is good and all, but it only takes you so far, the 10mm drivers deliver very competent audio, particularly if you take into account their low price tag. They are well balanced, keeping the bass "pumping" without sacrificing sound clarity and detail, if you are someone who listens to several different types of music, the MA350's might just be your sort of audio solution.
The biggest sound issue that these headphones have doesn't even come from the earpieces themselves but from the fabric braided cable. It may sound weird, but it's the truth, the microphonics caused when the fabric cable rubs against your clothes is extremely loud for some reason, it become annoying after a short while. Thankfully a useful clip that helps reduce cable movement is included, this "eases the pain" but it's something that RHA should look to improve in future revisions of the MA350 in-ear headphones.

Moving away from the audio quality and into the comfort department, I noticed that the silicone ear-tips work well when it comes to isolating outside noises, they are also very pleasant to wear, especially when you compare them to other tips from similar priced products on the market. The aforementioned clip that comes packed with the MA350's also helps reduce the weight-pressure that your ears are subjected to.
On a negative note once again the fabric cable has to be mentioned, I have found out that the announced "fabric woven cable for reduced tangling" doesn't work all that well, making it sometimes a true nightmare to get sorted out.

Final Thoughts
Despite the issues caused by the fabric cable, I have to say that the MA350's are some of the most well-balanced in-ear headphones I've had the pleasure to try out. For less than $40 you get an incredibly sturdy product that also comes with a 3-year warranty, just in case.
If you are looking for headphones that combine affordability and quality all in one package then look no further, the MA350's are for you.

The Good
-Aluminium construction
-Balanced sound
-Noise isolation
-Comfortable
-Very good price/quality ratio

The Bad
-The fabric braided cable

Thanks to RHA for providing the review sample
